Game Think is a half day ‘unconference’ which will provide students, researchers and practitioners with an opportunity to share their current research interests in a fun, informal way.
The event will take the form of a series of short ten-minute talks with an additional five minutes allowed for discussion following each talk. The topic may be anything related to video games or play and may be used to showcase work-in-progress or current research work.
We encourage ideas and playfulness, and Game Think is an opportunity to bring the many different aspects and perspectives currently existing in gaming to an exciting new space.
Game Think will take place in the John McIntyre Building at the University of Glasgow (building A22 on this map) on Friday 6th of February 2015 from 13:00 – 16:30. With support from the Scottish Media and Communications Association, tea and coffee will be provided.
Game Think is hosted by HATII at the University of Glasgow in collaboration with Glasgow Caledonian University, Abertay University, and the Digital Cultures Research Centre, UWE.
